IGDA @ Clark

Current Role: Event Team (August 2025 - Present)

  • Helped curate events to give students a better understanding of the gaming industry, and allow them to participate in game jams.

  • Work on the IGDA Game Expo which brings in around 300 people each semester including students, industry connections and faculty in the Greater Boston area.

  • Hosted an Industry Talk in Discord with Victoria Caña (The Pokémon Company) and Anran Li (Riot Games) where they presented their talk “Menus to Meta-Game: Building Features Beyond Core Gameplay”.

Emerson Game Development Club

Past Role: Vice President (Jan 2023 - December 2024)

  • Help manage and create weekly meetings for the Org that revolve around the topics of game development and the industry as a whole.

  • Connect with other colleges in the greater Massachusetts area to collaborate on Game Jams, Expos and other events.

  • Manage a community discord to engage in discussions regarding game development and the industry.

  • Hosted my own meeting such as Dar’s Friendship Hour which talks about friendship mechanics in video games and how they work.

  • Hosted industry event with Jack Burrows (Level Designer) to talk about the industry and the principles of level design.

Emerson Esports

Past Roles: Head of Crew, Head of Discord, Head of Content, Community Manager (November 2021 - November 2023)

Head of Crew: (November 2021 - May 2022):

  • Production Lead for Events and Member Role Management.

  • Primary decider and contributor for Cinematics and Photography used for Events and advertising media.

Head of Discord/Community Manager: (May 2022 - November 2023)

  • Lead communication manager for over 600 students and professional players, overseeing over 50 channels across various platforms and 9 different competitive teams.

  • Adjusting roles and permission for all members to best fit the server.
